Glory to God for a
beautiful retreat!
Keep an eye out for more information about our 2027 event and let us know if you’re interested in volunteering (office@saintemmelia.com).
Plan Ahead:
Typically, the retreat begins Thursday afternoon and ends Sunday after coffee hour. We offer youth activities for ages 3-18, and children under 3 are welcome to join parents in the adult workshops! In addition to workshops and services, families participate in contradancing, bonfires, and much more!
While registration fees change year to year based, we aim to keep costs as low as possible. Here are last year’s costs:
Household registration = $400
Meals, age 13+: $143
Meals, age 5-12: $78
Gluten Free Meals: $24
Housing per family for the entire weekend: $339
Volunteers receive discounts at various levels, and we are grateful to be able to offer scholarships. Don’t hesitate—we aim to make the conference accessible to everyone!
Youth Activities:
Talent Show: Share your music, comedy, skits, and dancing/athletic feats in acts 5 minutes or less! Start planning and practicing now!
Young Entrepreneur Vendor Hall: Bring your crafts—anything from whittling to lip balms to prayer ropes!—and sell them in our vendor hall.
Ask Abouna: All age levels will get to spend time asking a priest their questions about our Faith and the spiritual life.
Youth confession: Teens are welcome to go to confession Saturday night before Vespers.
Location:
This year, we will be gathering at Antiochian Village Camp (Bolivar, PA) and staying in the camp cabins. Each cabin has two sides with private bathrooms and a shared common room. Families will stay in one side of the cabin and share the common room with another family. If you would like to share with a particular family, or if you have more than 10 people in your family, please let us know at programs@saintemmelia.com.
If you have any questions about lodging, food, or other facilities, please email us, NOT AV Camp.
